Thanks to a constant cooperation with a team of experienced dental doctors representing all of the dental branches, XO Dental Clinic provides it’s patients with the chance to undergo comprehensive treatment. Our competences:

Bite reconstruction

Lowering of the bite and improper occlusion can be linked to damaged or malformed hard tissues of the teeth. The reason for this is very often: bruxism, parafunctions, improperly performed teeth reconstruction (fillings, prosthetic work) or the state after orthodontic treatment.

Such lowered bite, does not only look aesthetically bad but most af all it leads to various muscle – joint dysfunctions.

In our clinic we perform bite reconstructions using Professor’s Gerber and Kois method. These are proven methods allowing us to bring back a beatiful smile and proper work of the facial muscles and temporomandibular joints.

Endodontics

In our clinic we try to save every tooth because our patient’s teeth are to us of the utmost importance. We treat not only inflammations of the tooth pulp and periapical tissues but we also clear occluded and additional canals, we remove broken tools from canals, we prepare roots for prosthetic reconstructions.

Teeth X-ray and panoramic radiograph

Panoramic radiograph and teeth X-ray are very important elements of the XO Dental Clinic inventory. Such equipment allows for quick and effective treatment of patient’s teeth. X-ray pictures in modern dentistry are an essential instrument, with the help of which we can properly diagnose, and then control the treatment.

That is why all the required photographs and are being made right here at our clinic.

Implantology

In our clinic we perform implant placements, even in very difficult and challenging anatomical circumstances, with the use of different techniques: for example guided bone and soft tissue regeneration treatment. We apply implants only made by reputable companies, that provide the products with a minimum of 5-year warranty.

For instance we cooperate with an american company – Biomet 3i. Implantological treatments performed in XO Dental Clinic are atraumatic, painless and there is a very good tolerance amongst our patients.

Professional hygiene

One of the first and primary steps in preventing and treating periodontal diseases is professionally removing subgingival and supragingival calculus. The tartar that stays on the teeth plays a part in forming catarrhal gingivitis in different variations and also causes the destruction of soft tissues and bones around the teeth.

That is why in our clinic, we put a lot of effort in performing professional hygienical treatments, after which we move on to performing the next vital steps of the treatment.

Pedodontics

It happens very often that adult patients tell us that they are afraid of a dental doctor. They usually begin their tale with letting us know how the evil dentist…. and here starts the terrifying part. In XO Dental Clinic we try to do anything possible so that our little patients are never afraid of a visit at a dentist.

We use a painless anaeshthesia called „The Wand“ and we always carefully explain to our patients step by step what we have to do and why we have to do it. Thanks to this our patients always feel safe and comfortable.

Surgery

In our clinic we perform a full profile of surgical dental treatments with anaesthesia:

Conservative dentistry

Caries is a civilization disease, that touches up to 95% of our country’s population. Early caries or periodontitis diagnosis allows for very simple and effective treatment methods.

The purpose of periodic dental inspections is a quick diagnosis of caries and inflammations inside the mouth and it’s elimination so that our patients can keep their own healthy teeth as along as it is possible.

Aesthetic dentistry

We try our best to bring back a beautiful, natural look of the teeth with the use of all newest techniques in dentistry and prostethics (for instance we perform veneers or ceramical inlays) and we do not forget about the functions of the chewing organs.

Prosthetics

We perform all of the prosthetical fillings, f.e. modern telescopic prosthesis and crowns and all-ceramic bridges with the circonium oxide foundations.

The advantage regarding all-ceramic crowns is that they do not differ in form or color from natural teeth.

Periodontic comsetic surgery

Our clinic specializes in treating periodontic diseases that occur in different variations in around 70% of the population.

Besides professional hygienisation and curettages, we perform guided tissue and bone regenaration technique treatments with the use of Emdogain formulation.

We also perform:
– Corrections of the lower lip frenulum
– Corrections of the upper lip frenulum and tongue
– Extensions of the attached gum zones in the lower incisors area.

Medical equipment

In concern for the comfort of our patients, the clinic has been equipped with the newest and unique medical equipment, produced by a danish XO firm. All of the necessary X-ray and panoramic radiograph photographs are being performed right here at our clinic.

Dental units

The XO unit adjusts to your needs. Some projects contradict imitation, and XO 4 is one of them. JACOB JENSEN DESIGN and members of the XO group made the project of the unit, a unit that is not similar to any other. XO 4 units are the expression of 50 years of experience combined with new ideas, that together go far into the future. Detailed reaserch has been made with XO 4 unit in mind in order to create the most functional device. XO 4 offers the highest level of comfort and safety for the patient, as well as the doctor.

Electrical surgical knife

An innovation in high frequency surgery. XO ODONTOSURGE surgical knife from the danish firm – XO. With the help of XO ODONTOSURGE it is possible to perform incisions without pressure. The tip of the instrument allows for easy penetration through the tissue which helps with performing a precise, almost free from bleeding cuts with a stable and constant control of the operated spot. Thanks to XO ODONTOSURGE the healing is brought down to a minimum. It is currently the safest such device on the market.

Intraoral camera

Intraoral digital camera, with the high resolution of 470.000 pixels. The camera is equipped with IFS optical system with the sharpness regulation. The videofeed from the camera is being displayed on a screen mounted to the dental unit in a way that the patient can see it accordingly and it is also saved with the use of any software possessing such specification.

Pantomograph

ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH® is the camera of the latest generation deisgned for performing panoramic radiograph pictures of the highest quality. It is the effect of many years of reasearch work from the INSTRUMENTARIUM DENTAL company in Finland, the company that is the co-creator of the very first device to perform panoramic radiograph pictures.

The first such photograph has been made there on the 26th of December 1950. In 1963 mass production of the devices now known all over the world has begun. The particular usefulness of this appliance is confirmed by doctors working in large clinics that perform full range of dental services.

Teeth X-ray

The japanesse PHOT-X camera from the BELMONT company is one of the newest X-ray devices currently available on the dental market. It is made to perform the highest quality photographs. It generates photographs of the highest quality, minimizing the radiation dosage to an absolute minimum.

Scaler

Nowadays it is possible to treat periodontal diseases without surgery. It has been scientifically proven that removal of the sugingival conretion with the use of XO ODONTOGAIN, combined with perfusion of the gingival pockets using XO PERIODINE gives positive results in treating periodontical diseases. Using XO PERIODINE to perfuse during the treatment of paradontal pockets has long-lasting effects. It counteracts inflammations reccurences and conserves periodontal tissue. This non-surgical method gives similar results to surgical treatment (open curettage).

In cases of sophisticated periodontical diseases with deep vertical bone detoriorations, treatment with this method leads to a very visible reduction of he depth of paradontical pocket. The healing process should be additionally stimulated with the help of proper mouth hygiene.

The Wand

This device allows for appliance of all kinds of regional anaesthetics in the dentistry. The advantage of this device is a very comfortable way of application. It enables the removal of tissue dissections, that occur when applying anaesthesia in a more traditional way. The patient very often does not even feel that he has been given the anaesthesic. The tip of The Wand (just as the needles) are single use only. Thanks to sterile packaging the risk of cross infections is eliminated. Every patient has his own sterile set. It provides safety to you and your doctor. Friendly look of The Wand’s tip that resembles a pen, allows you to forget about the „fear of anaestesia“ that is a fear from a typical needle and syringe. Most of all – THE WAND provides a unique comfort for the patients. It is being recommended for applying anaesthesia for children and people that are vulnerable to pain. The application of the anaesthesia using The Wand is precise, safe, effective and thanks to a unique technology – it can indeed be painless.
